SAM J. GOLDBEN is the author of FOR THE RISK OF FIRE, which is currently being queried to agents for publication, and THE GRYPHOI ARCHON, a Modern Fantasy short story in Talons and Tails debuting September 15, 2025. When she's not dreaming up ways to hurt her own feelings, or working away at the library, she can be found gaming, crocheting, and cuddling with her cat, Artemis. FOR THE RISK OF FIRE is her first novel. THE GRYPHOI ARCHON is her first publication.
